When summer is on, it’s on. Wharf bombs, road trips, maxing and relaxing to the tunes of Six60, Herbs or whatever floats your boat. We flee the cities and flock to the outer regions where summer vibes abound. So to celebrate it, we created a campaign that captures those precious moments in time.

Following on from the big success of our first summer campaign with McDonald's, we created a new visual direction for their summer campaign. We developed a narrative and aesthetic direction and worked with the super talented Ross Murray to create a suite of sweet visual assets. Ross created beautifully illustrated scenes that capture moments in time.
Moments with family, with nature, with a bite of hot, fresh McDonald's. Applied seamlessly by DDB to create an inspiring customer experience, this campaign shone a ray of summer sunlight into the fast food market for any Kiwi on their way to or from some summer magic.
